About Us

Christine is the Founder of Positive Perspectives Outreach. She is a qualified teacher with 14 years experience. During that time she has been teaching, tutoring, writing schemes of work and more recently the Principal of a SEND school and Vice Chair on the Governing body at her local mainstream Primary School. She has a track record of raising standards and re-engaging learners who experience barriers to education.

Christine has a First Class Honours Degree in Education and Special Educational Needs with Qualified Teacher Status as well as a Masters Degree in Special Education. She has also achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship.

Christine is passionate about ensuring education is accessible for all and believes that education should inspire a life long love of learning. She employs dynamic, effective and current pedagogy together with person centred insight to instil confidence and accelerate progress, enabling every child to reach their full potential.  

At Positive Perspectives Outreach we value and respect each person we work with. We build a bespoke package informed by the individual's unique perspective plus our in-depth knowledge of SEND and SEMH needs including; Anxiety, Autism, ADHD, ODD, PDA and Trauma. 

We work with a team of professionals. Our varying skills provide the insight needed to truly support and make the difference in helping an individual feel safe, secure, settled and ultimately access their education. 

This input includes positive behaviour support, educational psychology, occupational therapy, psychotherapy and speech and language therapy. 

We work together with the child and the key people in their lives to understand the unique strengths and needs of the individual including their communication style, motivators and interests. We focus on building positive relationships so that we can set the individual up for success, access a meaningful education and ultimately help them identify and follow their own ambitious and fulfilling path in life.
